Sydney's First Greenway in Light Rail Extension

Member for Marrickville Carmel Tebbutt joined NSW Premier Kristina Keneally to announce the inclusion of the GreenWay as part of the light rail extension to Dulwich Hill.
The GreenWay has been championed by the local community for many years and will deliver an environmentally sustainable, integrated transport corridor.
It will create a continuous cycle and walking path between the Cooks River and Iron Cove – providing improved connectivity for commuters, and recreational cyclists and joggers. It will also enhance and expand upon existing nature habitats and bushcare sites along the rail corridor – protecting precious native flora and fauna.
